Ben Arfur - 'Cease Fire'

The poster explores the relationship of continuity in opposite spectrums. Cease, otherwise known as to stop or come to a halt alludes to an end; a blank canvas where peace can eventually manifest. Abrasively, Fire cuts through Cease’s progression ironically bringing it to a halt, as it does, it inverts the canvas thus blurring the onlooker’s interpretation and further emphasising the discordance between the two words, much like it is in reality.
